Everything conservative “Christians” preach is the exact OPPOSITE of what Jesus taught. The practitioners of religion don’t know the first thing about their supposed religion, Christians don’t even know what is in the bible because they don’t read it except for some verses here and there, neither do Catholics, Jews or Muslims. They’re always giving you tons of quotes that aren’t even in the bible, there’s like 50 of them that people use and they aren’t even in there!!! Right wing conservative homophobes spouting out Leviticus is the BIGGEST joke of all.

Jesus repealed Leviticus.

That’s the Old Testament, the Jewish bible. Christianity (and largely Catholicism) is the New Testament. Their fire and brimstone quotes, none of them are from the New Testament, which is THE CHRISTIAN doctrine. Leviticus is extremist’s favorite book to quote from and it was largely repealed by the New Testament, but they wouldn’t know that because they never read the bible and since they quote the Old Testament they apparently don’t know whether they are Christian, Catholic or Jewish either. The fact that they always bring up Leviticus shows they know nothing about Christianity.

Love and compassion were the biggest things Jesus taught the people, he went to all of the temples and all over Galilee and gave sermons about what sick dicks they were being following the letter of law, he said you think you’re following “rules” and you act like you’re being good people but you’re being terrible, horrible and awful people. LOVE and compassion is the point.
