Answer: one of the biggest challenges is being inundated by the LGBT thought police and awful LGBT culture. They are told who to be and how to think by a lot of damaged misogynist people who call themselves activists and advocates. That makes discovering your own identity really hard especially when you are already part of a marginalized group and you have to seek out those like you. 

Youth face political challenges like conservatives writing discrimination into state constitutions. Conservative politicians and their media justify hatred for parents and haters who are disgusted by gay people. People need support to be hateful or intolerant. If they act like a DICK and everyone around them is like Whoa not cool tossing your kid out on the street wtf is WRONG with you? They wont act like an a-hole but when you have HATE SUPPORT on your television and radio and other media and politicians are advocating it then you can BE a hateful animal all day, and conservative media blames YOU again when you call them what they are, homophobic bigots. According to them you just don’t know what sweethearts they are. 

Young gay people may be more accepted but it’s a myth that they’re accepted period. They too will have to seek out the gay experience just like we all did and they will encounter the same messed up shit we all did and still do as adults and every decade brings new stages of challenges. 

Good news is there’s PFLAG and a lot more support and gay media and places to connect in the online world.   

AND biyotch, it’s AWESOME being a Lesbian EVEN when it SUCKS. it’s STILL FANfuckingTASTIC especially compared to being straight, and good god those miserable straight bitches who can’t even keep a husband or wife when HALF of the population is the opposite sex?!?! Really!!! Even if conservatives thought they DID have something on us by discriminating, they still got nuthin!!
