trying to change everyone to please a few people is not how the world works. WE are Lesbians, and out Lesbians are probably about 3 or 4% of the population, sorry, but we don’t expect to see ourselves represented in every single fucking sitcom. if you are 5 , 10, 15% or whatever minority % of the population, you ARE a minority. it’s nice to be included and we should seek for more of it, we’re a fantastic market, but we are not going to assume people are anti-gay if we don’t see our minority represented somewhere, or if they don’t have Lesbian friends. we are most of our straight friends only Lesbian friend and they are anything but anti-gay.

modern america is built upon majority rule while PROTECTING the RIGHTS of the minorities, not FORCING everyone to pat your head and give you special kisses when you are a minority. WE are a minority, you don’t have to like us, (even though, frankly, most people do and this is probably a big part of why they do) we don’t need anyone to approve of Lesbians or our relationships, we simply ask to be respected. you don’t have to change everything about YOUR life and values so WE can live ours.
