The members of Interpol don’t appear in the just-released clip for “Lights” (1st single off the self-titled 4th album, due in September), but the video echoes the song’s brooding post-punk with beautifully shot, completely creepy visuals. Watch below.

WOW I’m such a lesbian I never even considered the milk cum but apparently everyone else does if you look up the video on-line. I looked up the beetle info in the beginning and it adds to the video’s many open-ended interpretations.

Love it even though it’s eerie. The Japanese don’t consume milk, funny how they played with that. Interpol has always been a great band. I loved Joy Division too. When a band actually makes me think I appreciate it. Considering the alternative is Lady Gaga and Puffff Diddy videos.

I’d say it’s just their way of getting attention so people will buy their music and make them rich. This has been going on for so many years now that it’s nothing new to me.

      Thought provoking and powerful message.

      Milk symbolizes dependency.

“Please police me. I want you to police me”

Interpol obviously have an understanding of cults that hide within societies.

This is the typical darkness still trying to hang on and put fear into people. Drugs, illuminati sex slave symbolism..just think all they have are their images on screen. Wisdom is something they shall never gain. Soon their foundation will deteriorate, give it another year or two hun and watch the change in our world for the better. I guarantee it!

      Bloody brilliant.

Love this and love the message with the white milky liquid coming out of her eyes. Thanks!
