Mooning someone is HILARIOUS and when she flashed her nipple she made a funny face, it’s not like she’s delusional and thinks she’s 25. She’s fit so she CAN pull it off but it’s VERY obviously satire. Burlesque especially has always been a part of satire. It originated in literature and then spread to performing arts and people often don’t understand it now. Satire is bawdy and brassy but it is also sophisticated at the same time so it is lost on a lot of people and clearly lost on those mocking her.

When Madonna wants to be sexy, she is, even though dancing around in that body suit like she had arthritis in her Hung Up video wasn’t so hot, but whatever! That was a mistake, this is not! The idea that a woman CAN be sexy and not be 25 is lost on too many and it’s a detriment. She’s being FUNNY, check out the video, the entertainment media clearly gets it but those in mainstream media mocking her are trying to act like she’s TRYING to be sexy but failing miserably because she’s old and ugly now.
